One of our assignments was to take a scavenger hunt in downtown Toronto. Here are some of the pictures taken while exploring.
Waking up for the grand adventure.
The whole gang in Downsview subway station.
The subway arrives.
We took a lot of photos on the subway, here are some advertisements.
Warning signs tell you what you can and cannot do. Mostly what you can't do.
Who knew Mario had his own business card?
We arrived at our first destination on our adventure, St. Andrew Subway station
We all decided to get transfers, just in case.
After arriving, we made our way out of the subway beginning our adventure in Toronto.
The first thing we noticed is how big Toronto is. Theres met some interesting people on the way.
Keertan on the phone in a bus shelter.
We al noticed right away that Toronto has a lot of graffiti everywhere. On buildings, alleyways, even on the sidewalk.
We took a picture of the street signs.
I wonder how that got up there? We may never know.
We were hoping to take picture of the graffiti on Emily and King street, but we couldn't seem to find any. Apparently it had been all washed off.
The Black Market has a lot of cool things to buy. I found items in there I would never find in my home town.
Even more surprising, the Active Surplus store also has a wide variety of items for sale.
Adam bought an HDMI cable while in the store.
More graffiti, simply amazing.
Unfortunately some of our group members were too young (including me) to drink beer at the Black Bull Cavern, so we just shot a picture of the outside.
We backtracked to Emily and King street to take photos of even more graffiti. Theres even graffiti on the sidewalk.
Unfortunately we were all to cheap to buy anything at the vendors, so we just took pictures of some necklaces.
Hooray for graffiti, without it Toronto wouldn't be as eye appealing.
Mike stopped to look at an Eye Newspaper, he was very intrigued by what he saw.
We came across an alleyway swarmed with graffiti, some of the artwork here is mind blowing.
We came across the Java House, I took a picture of the storefront and the menu list outside.
Did someone say, more graffiti?
Mike introduced us to Smoukes Poutine. It was delicious.
Late at night we captured a photo of the indian cuisine restaurant, Gandhi
After a long day of exploring, we all said goodbye and went on the subway to head home.
I was so tired after the whole adventure, that i feel asleep right after I got home. Another amazing day has come to end. One I won't ever forget.
